Florida Birding Photography Tour
March 3rd to 8th, 2024
Want to learn or increase your hit rate photographing birds in flight?
Join us at 2 fantastic locations:
The first two days we will shoot at the St. Augustine Alligator Farm Rookery. The next days we will head south to Titusville and spend time putting those skills together at the Orlando Wetlands.
This event/workshop is mostly a field/outdoor shooting event ending the event with Critiques of your images and assignments. There are many opportunities for questions and instruction in both of these locations.
While in St Augustine we will work on bird in flight techniques, both early morning and late afternoon. The St. Augustine Alligator Farm Photo Pass is required to get in early and stay late at the Alligator Farm. You will need the pass for one day and one morning. Daily passes are available if you don't wish to purchase an annual pass.
Go to their website to purchase your pass or you can purchase your pass on site if you would like. You will need a photo ID on site and with each entry.
While at Orlando Wetlands we will shoot a sunrise one morning as well as walk out to their new boardwalk. This boardwalk gets us close to rookeries as well as great positions for birds in flight in a beautiful scenic location. Other easy hikes bring us to wide open views of lakes with many bird in flight opportunities. We will finish the days with sunsets at different park locations.
Cost of the event is $650.00. Please send a check to :
