Join us for great images in The Great Smoky Mountains.
Photograph wildlife, including black bear, deer, turkey and cyote. Expriance wonderful
sunrises and sunsets in Cades Cove and the Smokey Mountains. Visit the wonders of the night sky high above light pollution. Join us for great fun.
Notes on workshop:
8-24 We will meet in the classroom at 7:00PM to 9:00PM please eat dinner prior the classroom meeting. We will review the weeks event as well as camera settings and lens selection.
8-25 Sunrise shoot in Cades Cove. followed by shooting several Structure locations including the old mill. We will stop for animal sightings. Proper use of filters will be part of the sunrise instruction. We will have a selection of Singh-Ray filters for you to try.
classroom session after lunch. We will review and teach Night & Star Photography.
Afternoon shoot will be in Cades Cove looking for wildlife until dark.
8-26 Sunrise shoot Foot Hills parkway. Cades Cove wildlife
Classroom session after lunch. We will be covering filters and some processing in the classroom
Evening shoot looking for wildlife in afternoon.
Dinner will be a outdoor cookout at Hotel. If you have a special diet need please let us know.
After Dinner we will photography night and star photography.
8-27 sleep in. 10 AM classroom prior lunch and finish after lunch. (Pick up and Bring lunch to class). We will review Night & Star Photography techniques.
After lunch we head to Greenbrier for water images followed by a hike (Short to a waterfall.)
which will take us to late afternoon. ( Hike to waterfall may yield wildlife)
8-28 Sunrise Shoot Cades Cove and one last look for wildlife.
10:45 Classroom. Criteque images. 3 images per person. two must be from event the 3rd you can bring from home.
1Pm Workshop completed.
